Why is your phone number no longer listed on your web site?

Answer: Due to an overwhelming amount of unnecessary phone calls, we have removed our phone number from our site. We can be contacted by email HERE

We have thought long and hard about this decision, and it was a tough one to make. After spending many hours everyday on the phone, we started to fall behind on getting orders shipped on time. We have elected to communicate by email and keep our super low prices, as opposed to hiring a dedicated phone staff and raising our prices to cover the overhead.

How long does it take for you to ship an order?

Answer: Orders are usually shipped within 1-2 business days, although rare, it is possible to take longer than that to get your order shipped.

I paid for "X" days shipping and today is the "X" day, why don't I have my order?

Answer: The "X" is the amount of time (in shipping carriers business days) that your order will take to get to you once it has shipped.

Example #1: On Monday you place an order and pay for UPS 3-Day Select shipping. Then we ship your order on Tuesday, you can expect to have your order on Friday of the same week. The day that the carrier picks up the order does not count as a day (I don't know why, you would have to contact the shipping carrier and ask them why) so we ship it on Tuesday, that means that Wednesday = 1 day, Thursday = 2 days and Friday = three days.

Example #2: You place the same order and select the same shipping and carrier options as example #1, except the order is placed on Tuesday. The UPS 3-Day Select shipping is now going to take five (5) days. We ship it on Wednesday, so Thursday = 1 day, Friday = 2 days, Saturday = 3 days, Sunday = 4 days and Monday = 5 normal people days. In this case, 5 "normal people" days equals three (3) shipping carrier days. Even though both of us paid the carrier for three day shipping, it works out to take five days. I don't know whay the shipping carriers don't work on the weekends, you'll have to contact them and ask them why.

Why did I not get my tracking number/shipping information yet?

Answer # 1: Your order has not been shipped yet, you will get an email with the shipping information when your order is shipped. It may be sent to you at 4am when we are done working for the day, but you will get the information if the email address that was supplied to us is correct.

Answer # 2: You provided an incorrect email address by accident when the order was placed. If you were not emailed a reciept within minutes after you placed your order, this means that we were supplied with an incorrect email address 100% of the time. (We can not specify enough how important it is for us to have a correct email address. Due to this problem, we added a second required email field on the shipping information page to all but eliminate this problem)
We will NEVER sell, share, rent or give any of your personal information out for any reason. (unless the cops are at our front door with a court order, and even then we will still put up a fight)

Why was I not emailed a receipt after I placed my order?

Answer: This is only possible if the email address associated with your order order is incorrect, or if it has landed in your spam, junk or bulk email folder.

Check your spam, junk or bulk email folder and make sure our email address ( sales@saveonboating "dot" com ) is added to your friendly email list.

Why is the USPS (post office) tracking number you sent me not working?

Answer: According to the United States Postal Service (USPS) tracking numbers are only available when items are shipped VIA one of their Express services. All other services can not be tracked. If you paid for a method other than one of their Express services, the only number available to you or us, is a Delivery Confirmation number. Basically, that means the nummber will mean nothing until the order has been delivered. (I know, I think the same thing)
